Frequently Asked Questions

  • Your pesticide applicator license will give you all the information you need. Refer to the front of your applicator license card. To the right of your company name and address you will see the categories for which you are certified, and the date by which you need to “recertify” or take a class. If you are still unsure as to your recertification status, contact the MN Dept of Ag (651) 201-6615 or click here for online license lookup. Enter the person’s last name, click on the license number and you will see their recertification date.

Or, watch this 3 minute video if you still aren’t sure.

  • NO CONFIRMATION WILL BE SENT. Your purchase order/cancelled check/credit card receipt will be proof of payment/registration. Please take note of program dates, locations and start times. A reminder email with necessary links and directions will be sent two weeks prior to events and again two days prior.

  • Sometimes, companies have high security in place and block emails sent from third parties (we send the emails using MailChimp, a third party email service that allows for tracking, etc.). If you don’t get an email 2 weeks before and again 2 days before the event that you registered for, you should check your spam/junk folders, contact your IT department, and/or call the MN PIE office and it can be forwarded to you directly. Please don’t wait until the morning of the event to let us know you haven’t received it!

  • When you complete the online payment form, you will enter an email address of the card holder. This is where a receipt will be emailed when the transaction is complete. No receipt will be sent for mail in registrations.

  • Cancellations will receive a full refund (minus $25 handling) if cancellation is received at least 10 working days prior to the event. Cancellations received less than 10 days prior to the event, and no shows, will not be entitled to a refund.

  • Registrants will be allowed to transfer their registration from one workshop to another without penalty as long as the change request is received by the MN PIE office no later than 10 working days prior to the program.

  • The cost for a workshop is slightly higher than a webinar, and MN PIE members get a discount for their employees. Some events are categories A&J, while others are category A, J & E.

    Here’s the breakdown:
    Webinar Category A+1: $165
    Webinar Category A+2: $200
    Workshop Category A+1: $175
    Workshop Category A+2: $210

MN PIE members may receive a $25 discount based on their membership level.
